Job Summary

We are seeking passionate individuals to teach English classes for refugees in Phoenix, AZ. The position involves creating connections, training, and sharing the hope of Jesus with refugee individuals and families.

About the role

This role includes facilitating weekly English classes, interacting with students from diverse backgrounds, and ensuring consistent classroom plans and structures. It also involves fundraising activities.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate English classes using a computer-based learning approach
• Engage with students and volunteers to build friendships and share the hope of Jesus
• Work with students from various countries to foster understanding and connection
• Ensure consistency in classroom plans and structures
• Participate in fundraising efforts to support the ministry

Requirements

• No prior teaching experience in ESL is required, but experience is beneficial
• An interest in teaching and connecting with students and volunteers
• The ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• A willingness to participate in fundraising activities

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and engaging with refugee students and volunteers
