BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher of English to join our team full-time at the Medford Campus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the subject area and effective teaching practices, foster a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful instruction, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.

Requirements

• Valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in English (required)
• Demonstrated knowledge of English content and instructional methods
• Ability to maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to working with a diverse student population
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
• Criminal history background check required
• Physical and drug testing required

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,737 – $81,313, in compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law. Starting salaries typically fall within the lower portion of the range due to collective bargaining agreements.
