Engineering Transformation Lead

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking an experienced HVAC domain expert to lead business value creation and operational transformation initiatives for the Global Parts Library (GPL) Platform and emerging Agentic AI capabilities within Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead business value identification and monetization efforts for Platforming, GPL, and Agentic AI initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering COEs and business units to identify high-value use cases.
• Identify and map workflows between PLM and ERP systems to streamline data consolidation efforts.
• Validate AI outputs through engineering analysis and stakeholder reviews.
• Cookordination governance discussions for parts, classifications, and product structures.
• Translate stakeholder needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Support scalable engineering data integration and standardization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, or a computer science field.
• 5+ years of HVAC industry or engineering/manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of working with PLM and ERP systems.
• 2+ years of experience working with eBOMs, mBOMs, and engineering data workflows.
• Willing and able to travel up to 2 times per year for Carrier site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or a computer science field.
• Experience with Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP, Oracle ERP, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with new product development, cost savings measures, and manufacturing standards.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI tools.
• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation and data governance programs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Digital teams.

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
