Engineering Test Technician
What’s the Job?
Conduct tests on aerospace systems and components to evaluate performance and compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot systems and components and provide data for Failure Review Board (FRB) investigations.
Set up, calibrate, test, and repair instruments, assemblies, components, DC circuits, and related equipment.
Document test procedures, results, and findings and communicate them to key stakeholders.
Assist with test equipment setup, manage lab equipment inventory, and provide guidance to entry-level test technicians.
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot at both system and component levels.
- Proficiency with aerospace testing equipment and software tools, including CIRTS and DEWESOFT.
