Responsibilities

• Independently support electrical distribution design projects by collecting technical data, preparing cost-effective designs, and ensuring compliance with utility standards.
• Apply your industry experience to deliver accurate construction-ready job plans with minimal oversight while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Independently gather and evaluate field/technical data.
• Produce turnkey distribution designs aligned with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with construction teams to clarify design details.
• Conduct field investigations as needed.
• Support customer-driven projects with cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines and avoid construction delays.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in distribution planning OR A combination of Engineering Technology education and relevant field/design experience.
• Ability to interpret standards and apply design principles independently.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• CAD experience (AutoCAD or MicroStation) helpful but not required.
