Responsibilities
- Independently support electrical distribution design projects by collecting technical data, preparing cost-effective designs, and ensuring compliance with utility standards.
- Apply your industry experience to deliver accurate construction-ready job plans with minimal oversight while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Independently gather and evaluate field/technical data.
- Produce turnkey distribution designs aligned with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with construction teams to clarify design details.
- Conduct field investigations as needed.
- Support customer-driven projects with cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage workload to meet deadlines and avoid construction delays.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in distribution planning OR A combination of Engineering Technology education and relevant field/design experience.
- Ability to interpret standards and apply design principles independently.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- CAD experience (AutoCAD or MicroStation) helpful but not required.
