Engineering Technician - Ship/Submarine

This role involves supporting C4ISR system installations on ships and submarines, primarily working in shipyard environments in San Diego, CA, and Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and structural assembly
• Lead teams in shipyard environments
• Maintain safety standards
• Organize job schedules to ensure timely completion

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical or structural assembly, repair, and planning related to shipboard systems
• Background in designing and installing structural components, HVAC, and cable penetrations
• Superior mechanical craftsmanship and leadership abilities
• Safety certifications (e.g., Haz-Mat, confined space)
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain security clearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel
