Engineering Technician III

HybridManagementFull-time

About the role

The Engineering Tech III position serves as the Project As-Built Coordinator, managing the process of turning construction changes and field documentation into the project's final, accurate record drawings and permanent engineering records. Working closely with project teams, contractors, inspectors, and document control staff, you will verify that field changes and construction documentation are accurately incorporated into final engineering records and transferred to Metropolitan’s document and asset information systems.

You will track deliverables, resolve missing or conflicting data, maintain digital content files related to the drawings, and ensure all project records meet applicable engineering, drafting, contractual, and organizational standards. You will manage the process from construction completion through final approval and maintain the Microsoft SharePoint As-Built Dashboard. Additionally, you will verify that the official construction drawing set, including all field markups, are digitally scanned and stored in the appropriate ProjectWise database construction-phase project folder.
