About the role

The Engineering Technician I position is responsible for assisting engineers and technicians in the design, installation, and maintenance of various engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment and systems
• Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Document work activities and provide reports as required
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality assurance standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in engineering or related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Experience with basic CAD software
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
