Engineering Technician I

About the role

The Engineering Technician I position at Terracon involves performing field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. This role requires communication with various stakeholders including project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors' representatives.

Responsibilities

• Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
• Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports.
• Communicate findings and results to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
• Adhere to strict safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months experience required
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history

Preferred Certification

• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire

Required Certification

• ACI certification within 90 days of hire
• Related internal safety certifications
