Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and monitoring machinery
- Using mechanical equipment such as power tools, hoists, forklifts, and hand tools
- Performing emergency, scheduled, and preventive maintenance
- Installing and inspecting machines and electrical equipment
- Writing up an equipment analysis for root cause documentation
- Observing and testing the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions
- Using voltmeters and other testing devices
- Keeping maintenance logs and reports on daily activities
- Working with the team to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime
- Monitoring and responding to issues with the facility support systems (HVAC, security, fire alarm, lighting, etc.)
- Responding to facility ServiceNow and SAP (CMMS) requests
- Supporting facility team projects (compliance, renovation, staff moves, repairs, continuous improvement, etc.)
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
