Role and Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation of new manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and assist with their implementation.
- Support problem resolution and the implementation of improvements and/or corrective actions.
- Assist with the installation of new manufacturing equipment that enhances productivity and improves quality.
- Learn and program new equipment as applicable.
- Contribute to cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal regulations for manufacturing processes, equipment, and products.
- Participate in the design and development of tools and fixturing.
- Familiarize and utilize computer numerical control (CNC) systems and computer aided design (CAD) systems.
- Utilize company enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to support business needs.
Qualifications
- Desirable Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.
- Experience programming CNC equipment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Hands-on technical expertise.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
