About the role
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Geotechnical Engineering Technician to join our growing team in the Denver metro area. This position involves performing field testing, inspection, and documentation on construction projects to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
- Conduct density testing, concrete sampling, slump, air content, and temperature testing.
- Document field observations and complete accurate daily reports.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Ensure testing procedures comply with ASTM, AASHTO, and project specifications.
- Maintain testing equipment and company vehicles.
- Travel to various construction sites throughout the Denver metro area.
Qualifications
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification required.
- Previous geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO testing procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.

- Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification
- WAQTC Certifications
- ICC Certifications
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on certifications and experience

Full-time
Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on project schedules.
