Responsibilities
- Assist in setup and maintaining test fixtures and equipment as required
- Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed
- Perform diverse tests on the Company’s line of products and competitor products
- Perform tests per work instructions and request procedures
- Prepare simple reports of test results and make recommendations
- Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database, and spreadsheet
- Follow all safety protocols as prescribed
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures and methods, mechanical/electrical principles or an applicable trade
- Knowledge of basic test concepts in the design and development of products and components
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic machining skills
- Basic electronics understanding – AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers
- Ability to complete basic wiring and soldering of components
- Understanding of common machine component applications and assemblies
Must be able to stand for 6 to 8 hours and lift 50 pounds.
