Responsibilities
- Prepare design drawings, plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for various civil site, land development, water, and wastewater projects.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design drawings and documents regularly.
- Aid in the preparation of reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school/GED diploma and 10 years of experience, or an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and 8 years related experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience designing residential, commercial, and industrial sites preferred.
- Civil engineering experience in coastal areas and municipal projects preferred.
- Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license.
