Engineering Technician

About the role

Seeking an Engineering Technician I to support field inspection and data analysis for underground infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Conducting field inspections such as manhole inspections, smoke testing, flow monitoring, and confined space entry.
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and adhering to safety policies.
• Processing and verifying project data, including sewer flow and condition data.
• Performing data quality control, editing, and analysis to identify underlying principles.
• Supporting various project tasks and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, or related field, or 2+ years relevant experience.

Skills

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and data management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and computer/tablet use.
• Mechanical skills with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and physical ability for confined space work.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
