About the role
L3Harris is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team and support their customers. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in building, testing, or assembling precision components.
Responsibilities
- Execute fabrication, assembly, integration, test, or inspection processes in accordance with detailed work instructions and drawings
- Experience with machining parts with standard tooling and shop equipment
- Integration of COTS optical equipment per detailed architecture block diagrams and wiring diagrams
- Assistance with equipment calibration in accordance with vendor or custom calibration procedures
- Communicate regularly with management to ensure team is meeting expectations for cost, schedule, and quality
- Maintain and operate wire bonding, photomasking, epoxy application, and other systems commonly used for optical device fabrication
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, workspace organization, and reliability
- Experience with precision building and assembly operations
- Working knowledge of engineering processes and methodologies
- Able to interpret and execute technical specifications
- Pass a polygraph examination due to program clearance requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree with at least 2 years of prior related experience
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance

Schedule
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
