The Engineering Technician will perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical activities, including design, test, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical activities, including design, test, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
- Build prototype models, specialized test equipment, and experimental design circuitry.
- Test and troubleshoot problems at the system and component level in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support new system installations, new product introductions (NPI), and field upgrades.
- Refer to schematics, diagrams, layouts, and plans for troubleshooting and routine testing.
- Maintain and compile logbooks and test documentation using strong writing skills.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on platforms per engineering and manufacturing documentation.
- May perform rework as needed and generate quality notifications.
Requirements
- Experience in electro-mechanical design, testing, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and systems.
- Proficiency in working from schematics, diagrams, layouts, or plans for testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components.

Pay
The pay scale for this role is $22-$26/hr (plus shift differentials).
Schedule
The Engineering Technician will work 1st, 2nd and Weekend Schedules.
