About the role

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support operational activities within our FAA-regulated aerospace facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and has a background in electronics along with familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical harness fabrication, and assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems
  • Support engineering personnel with daily operational and project-related tasks
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
  • Collect, record, and analyze technical data
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, test reports, and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100, safety, and company requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while properly utilizing required tools and equipment

Requirements

  • Strong background in electronics
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with electrical harness fabrication and assembly
