Job Responsibilities
- Support engineering initiatives, development processes and manufacturing operations
- Maintain process records, lab books, operate recording equipment, etc
- Create basic process documentation, work instructions and travelers
- Prepare equipment for operation and perform post process servicing
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations as part of a team
- Work with maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Implement equipment and process improvements
- Operate with an uncompromising safety-first attitude
What we need from you
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of work in a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical / vocational training
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write basic process procedures or instructions
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Works well individually and as a member of a team
- Work experience in a research environment
Preferred
- An Associate degree in trade / industrial / engineering discipline, demonstrated progress toward a technical degree or equivalent military experience
- Familiarity with fiber reinforced composite materials and associated manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with high temperature processing equipment
