Engineering Technician

About the role

The candidate will be working in chassis dyno operation in Allen Park. Vehicles will be tested on the chassis dynos every shift. The candidate will be physically in the vehicle driving on the chassis dyno. Set up will consist of attaching exhaust equipment to the vehicle to collect emissions for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Operate a chassis dyno during every shift.
• Drive vehicles on the chassis dyno while performing tests.
• Attach exhaust equipment to vehicles for emissions data collection.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a chassis dyno.
• Willingness to work on the first shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) for approximately 4 weeks of training.
• Ability to transition to the third shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) after training.

Skills

• Instrumentation and calibration experience is a plus.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
