Engineering Technician
As an Engineering Technician for a large aerospace and defense contractor, you will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks, including production support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to engineers on various technical tasks.
- Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data.
- Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
- Participate in the development of testers and tester builds.
- Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas.
- Conduct preliminary analyses of data in areas like trajectory adequacy and model dimensional consistency.
- Make quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
- Use personal computer to perform analyses and develop documentation/reports.
- Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or avionics discipline.
- 6+ months of military training/combined experience in the electronics field.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience in electronic testing.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
Skills
- Test fixture maintenance experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.23/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
