What You’ll Do

• Support a variety of semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) to image challenging structures.
• Acquire profile, sidewall, and top-down images using SEM.
• Experience with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis.
• Knowledge of SEM image optimization for a variety of materials.
• Contribute to the development of Best Known Methods (BKM) for SEM imaging of new applications.
• Perform SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment.

Who We’re Looking For

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a shift-based schedule as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field.
• Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas.
• Hands-on Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) experience.
• Experience in semiconductor experience is a plus.

Salary CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $23.56 - $46.63. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
