Engineering Technician 2

Seeking multiple SCA Engineering Technician 2 for a contract role supporting production and repair of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems.

Responsibilities

• Performing repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of complex electronic assemblies, modules, boards, cables, and subassemblies.
• Working from diagrams, drawings, and technical specifications to fabricate, repair, and modify electronic systems.
• Disassembling, reworking, and testing prototypes or experimental assemblies.
• Using hand/power tools, jigs, and soldering techniques, including micro-soldering and surface mount soldering.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (accredited school).
• At least 2 years of repair capability experience with electronics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and specifications.
• Solder certification (IPC J-STD-001) required.
• Proficiency in cable assembly, wiring, and soldering techniques.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; no third-party applicants.
• Employment contingent on background check and drug screening.

Schedule

On-site role with a 9/80 workweek, Monday to Friday, afternoons.
