Responsibilities
- Authoring and revising Instructions for Use (IFUs) and eIFU content in structured XML (DITA-like)
- Managing content through the CMS and quality system publishing pipeline
- Performing IFU change effect analysis
- Supporting translation/localization review workflows
- Cooking with cross-functional partners (R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and software packaging/testing) to deliver documentation on project timelines
Requirements
- Structured authoring (Structured FrameMaker, Oxygen, or comparable)
- Medical device IFU development (regulated industry experience for technical communications)
- Quality system processes (change effect analysis, requirements traceability, translation workflows)
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Years’ Experience Required: 5+ yrs
Skills
- Technical Skills Must Have: Ability to manage structured content (such as HTML, XML)
- Adobe Framemaker
- Adobe FrameMaker
- Adobe FrameMaker or other professional publishing tools
- Structured FrameMaker
- Nice To Have: Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Medical Device or other regulated industry experience is helpful, but not required
- VasontVasont Content Management System (CMS)
