Engineering Support Specialist II
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with program controls and program management to develop custom reporting and facilitate reporting of critical data relating to project success to departmental financial objectives
- Partner with engineering and procurement teams to define and implement effective hardware tracking processes, own demand creation, and drive Purchase Order creation
- Support and modernize databases and systems by maintaining and migrating existing tools to modern platforms to support Digital Transformation initiatives
Qualifications
- 18 or more months of experience in database or Systems/tools development (internal tools, engineering systems, etc.)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with database platforms, with strong working knowledge of relational databases, data management workflows, and process automation
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and/or Microsoft Project
- Experience with data reporting and analytics tools
- Familiarity with Agile tools or environments (such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management)
- Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
- Strong communicator who can work across engineering, operations, and leadership teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
About the Role
You will provide critical technical support and coordination to engineering teams within the aerospace sector. You will facilitate the resolution of engineering issues, support project execution, and ensure smooth communication between cross-functional teams to drive successful aerospace product development and delivery. You will report directly to our engineering management and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. New hires can expect to be onsite 100% for the first 90 days.
