What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of MOL engineers supporting 19+ manufacturing sites
- Serve as the primary engineering liaison across plants, satellites, product management, and sales
- Ensure design consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all locations
- Drive fast, high-quality technical responses to plant and customer inquiries
- Own and improve processes for engineering requests, change management, and design deviations
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, cost, and reliability
- Analyze warranty trends and recurring issues to drive root cause solutions
- Support the launch of new product features and enhancements
- Conduct and contribute to competitive product analysis
- Standardize best practices and promote knowledge sharing across all sites
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of design, manufacturing or engineering experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of design experience with UL 50, UL 67, and UL 891
- Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
- Experience with low voltage power distribution equipment
- Leadership experience
SKILLS
- Good verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment
- Proficiency in Engineering software/tools (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor & Enovia)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor
- Knowledge of Product Life-cycle management systems and their structure
- Fabrication methods for sheet metal, plastic, copper, and aluminum
- Up to 25% of your time traveling
Additional Information
