Engineering Supervisor

About the role

This position will assist the Engineering Manager in leading a team of maintenance personnel to provide service to owners and guests in the upkeep and maintenance of resort grounds, villas and assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work assignments, response and problem resolution, provide technical support to all maintenance personnel.
• Directs and assists maintenance techs with maintenance of buildings, vehicles, and keeping equipment in safe and operable condition.
• Follows and coaches maintenance techs in the adherence to guidelines set forth in the employee handbook and brand standards and makes responsible decisions based upon these guidelines.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve concerns as it relates to the upkeep and maintenance of the villas and grounds.
• Implement and facilitate skills training for assigned teams.
• Aid in controlling department budgetary expenditures.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager of Facilities Ops or General Manager.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma / GED.
• Prior 2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

• Facilities Certification, CEOE, IFMA, or FMA are desired.
