Engineering Specialist I

What You Will Do

• Assist in providing technical advice and guidance for designated engineering projects and programs at the assigned site.
• Auxiliary in the review, investigation, and development of appropriate recommendations regarding assigned engineering projects.
• Participate on small to medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
• Develop a working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the area of assignment and perform other duties as required.

What You Bring To Freeport

• High school diploma or GED and 4 years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
• Experience with fixed plant maintenance outages.
• Project Manager experience.
• Experience managing Contractors.

What We Offer You

• The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $80,000-$110,000.
• This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
• Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
• This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.

Pay

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $80,000-$110,000.

Schedule

This role may require employees to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
