We ensure our aircraft meet all the associated regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex engineering assignments related to EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics including performing detailed analyses using similarity assessments, simulation, and/or analytical methods.
- Help drive the resolution of electromagnetic related issues to support EMC certification and sustaining activities to support production and in-service.
- Define scope of work and EMC effort for engineering projects, plan activities/milestones, highlight technical risks, and complete tasks according to priorities.
- Analyze new and/or modified system or structure designs to assess technical engineering impacts and propose EMC compliance approaches.
- Review/approve associated engineering documentation such as test procedures, test reports and analysis reports. Verify compliance with certification regulations.
- Propose, drive and support knowledge capture initiatives. Support identification and closure of knowledge and skills gaps.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and interns.
