EP², a Flex company, is seeking an Engineering Specialist to support the design and execution of custom electrical power distribution solutions. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, and project leaders while contributing to innovative projects that power critical infrastructure across North America.

You’ll work closely with Engineers, Project Managers, Manufacturing, and Customers to transform complex requirements into high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and documentation of custom electrical power distribution products.
  • Interpret customer specifications and project requirements to assist in delivering engineered solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials, and project documentation.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with technical reviews, product modifications, and engineering change processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to support production and project execution.
  • Ensure designs, documentation, and processes comply with applicable standards and customer specifications.
  • Participate in product testing, validation, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to a culture focused on safety, collaboration, innovation, and customer success.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering-related software tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with electrical power systems, industrial controls, switchgear, power distribution equipment, or related products.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar design software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in a custom manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment.
