Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate regular project meetings with the Client/Owner, including weekly progress meetings, technical reviews, and coordination calls.
- Develop meeting agendas, document meeting minutes, and actively manage action item lists.
- Review action items with the Client and internal teams, ensuring accountability, timely resolution, and closure.
- Serve as the primary engineering interface with the Client, responding to technical questions and providing clear, accurate status updates.
- Develop, maintain, and drive the engineering schedule in coordination with discipline leads.
- Understand and manage schedule logic, including key predecessors, successors, and critical path activities.
- Identify potential schedule risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project milestones.
- Cookordination engineering deliverables to align with procurement, construction, and commissioning requirements.
- Manage the engineering budget, including tracking labor hours, forecasting costs, and monitoring variances.
- Ensure engineering activities are executed within the approved budget and scope.
- Review and approve engineering-related invoices and cost reports.
- Support change management efforts, including identifying scope changes, developing cost estimates, and supporting change order requests.
- Work with project controls and leadership to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
- Maintain a strong technical understanding of the overall project scope, design basis, and engineering deliverables.
- Provide oversight across all engineering disciplines to ensure design consistency and compliance with project requirements.
- Review and coordinate responses to Owner technical questions, comments, and requests for clarification.
- Support design reviews, value engineering efforts, and resolution of technical issues as they arise.
- Cookordinate engineering discipline leads and ensure alignment with project goals and priorities.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration between engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality standards and are issued in accordance with project procedures.
