Join our Photoshop Program Management team at Adobe, where we turn strategy into reality. As a Principal Engineering Program Manager, you will lead exciting projects for our mobile drawing app, making an impact on the creative tools used by professionals and enthusiasts worldwide.

About the role

Drive cross-team collaboration by leveraging your technical knowledge to lead cross-functional projects. Proactively anticipate and mitigate issues to ensure smooth project progress. Work closely with management to address complex challenges, aligning projects with Adobe’s strategic goals through effective planning and communication. Deliver projects within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints while balancing trade-offs and securing alignment. Lead product roadmaps, track dependencies, manage risks, and implement contingency plans with clear communication. Standardize processes to improve operational efficiency and consistently deliver outstanding outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience leading large-scale projects, demonstrating strategic insight and operational expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage diverse audiences and adapt messaging to different contexts.
  • User-centric focus, prioritizing feedback and actionable insights to drive innovations that improve satisfaction.
  • Inclusive leadership, excelling in diverse settings and fostering collaboration among all team members.
  • Technical depth, with experience solving complex problems across domains and evaluating technical requirements.
  • Commitment to continual learning, driven by curiosity to seek new solutions and advance skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Lean, and Scrum methodologies, applying these practices to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira; familiarity with Objective Key Results frameworks is a plus.
  • Relevant background in mobile product development and a passion for imaging or photography.

Pay

The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,300 – $277,400 annually, varying by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range is $191,600 – $277,400. For non-sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as base salary with short-term incentives through the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
