About the role

Handshake is recruiting Engineering Professionals to contribute to an AI research project. In this program, you’ll apply your expertise to help improve how AI understands real-world professional tasks and language. The Handshake AI program runs year-round, with project opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise.

The position is remote and asynchronous—work independently from wherever you are. Placement into a project will be dependent on project availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop industry-specific prompts and evaluate LLM responses
• Learn new skills while contributing to the changing world of AI across various industries

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in one or more of the following roles:
  • Mechanical Engineering Technologists and Technicians
  • Electrical Engineers
  • Bioengineers and Biomedical Engineers
• Able to participate in primarily asynchronous work in partnership with leading AI labs
