Responsibilities
- Review construction plans for safety and compliance
- Inspect public and private infrastructure projects
- Guide developers, contractors, engineers, and property owners through the development process
- Protect public infrastructure
- Sustain responsible growth
- Ensure projects meet local, state, and federal standards
Requirements
- Technical knowledge in engineering and construction
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Experience in office and field work
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
