Engineering Pipeline Project Manager

About the role

Kleinfelder's GTS Area is seeking a Pipeline Project Manager to join our Columbus (Dublin) office. Project Managers lead gas utility projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, design, construct, and close out projects. This role is vital for ensuring the safety and reliability of the gas pipeline system that provides heat to families and businesses in our clients' service territories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
• 6 - 7 years of related project management experience
• 3 - 4 years of project-related experience
• Utility, Construction, or Telecommunications Project Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Place safety as the highest priority
• Attend project meetings to provide critical path updates
• Lead and facilitate meetings in a professional manner
• Communicate and coordinate with project team to complete projects by client deadlines
• Create, monitor, and update project schedules
• Create and update financial forecasts
• Monitor and control budgets
• Review and approve invoices
• Provide project status reports to clients
• Travel to project sites as needed
• Complete the project manager qualification card as part of PMQS at Kleinfelder
