Engineering Operations Manager- Audio and Embedded Systems

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software and/or firmware development, preferably with audio technology or real time systems;
• 5+ years technical project management experience / Scrum / Agile;
• Proven experience deploying and supporting software products in production environments, relating to linux (Yocto) and android systems;
• Solid understanding of systems architecture, version control, and release management;
• Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in DevOps tools for embedded software, or software distribution processes (CI/CD, automated testing, deployment frameworks);
• Leadership experience in cross functional settings & across timezones;
• Technical management of both Hardware and Software products;
• Certification in project management or DevOps (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is advantageous.

Location

This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate is expected to work onsite at our San Jose, CA office 2–3 days per week, with the remaining days remote. Specific onsite days will be coordinated with your manager and team.
