For our client, a leader in the Transportation space, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team and lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation.
About the role
You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within an operationally complex logistics environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop engineering teams for a key platform overseeing real-time fulfillment operations
- Define and manage sprint goals to ensure timely delivery and accountability
- Facilitate team ceremonies to foster trust and a healthy working environment
- Drive platform enhancement contributions aligning with business priorities
- Ensure operational reliability, focusing on monitoring and failure management effectively
- Align priorities and strategies with other engineering teams in the WMS community
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of engineering management experience in a technology environment
- Strong foundational knowledge in engineering with hands-on technical skills
- Proven ability to manage teams, including hiring and performance reviews
- Experience with consistent team delivery cycles in a Scrum environment
- A production mindset focusing on reliability and operational readiness

Pay
$120,000 – $150,000 annually
