Engineering Manager, Security Detection & Response

Responsibilities

• Own and improve detection and response processes using AI-assisted workflows
• Lead high-severity incidents with effective communication and follow-through
• Engage in technical investigations across diverse security scenarios
• Define and enhance security observability and detection strategies
• Oversee detection use cases and validation processes for security tools
• Implement AI solutions to improve security operations workflows
• Build a high-performing remote team with strong onboarding practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Security Detection & Response or related fields
• 2+ years of management experience in a remote environment
• Hands-on with modern SIEM platforms and security operations
• Proficient in Python for automation and tooling
• Experience with cloud security, telemetry, and related tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay

$225,400 – $281,800 annually
