- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define, enforce, and evolve engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics (SLOs/SLIs) to measure and improve system health.
- Promote a "you build it, you run it" mindset, focusing on automation and reducing operational friction.
- Assess team capacity realistically to ensure consistent, predictable delivery of platform commitments.
Requirements
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience managing platform or infrastructure engineering teams in high-growth environments.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and complex distributed systems.

- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and a knack for making processes more efficient.
- Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Candid Mentorship: Proven ability to grow talent by providing candid, continuous feedback aligned with professional career frameworks, fostering a high-trust and psychologically safe environment.
- Strategic Proximity: Ability to remain technically engaged enough to be accountable for architectural quality and security, without becoming a bottleneck in day-to-day operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
