Engineering Manager - Heat Exchangers

About the role

Serve as Chief Engineer for a custom heat exchanger manufacturer, with a clear path to Director of Engineering. You'll lead day-to-day engineering for engineered-to-order products, from order processing to product improvements, and partner closely with the Director of Engineering on strategy and key customer decisions.

Responsibilities

• On-time ETO order engineering and KPI performance
• ASME code design review and engineering sign-off
• Welding and brazing procedures and certifications
• AHRI and third‑party listings
• BOM strategy across the product line
• Coaching and development of the engineering team

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years designing heat exchangers or related HVAC components in manufacturing
• 3+ years of engineering management
• Expert in ASME Section III (Classes 1, 2, 3) and Section VIII
• SolidWorks and MRP experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Virginia PE
• Made2Manage and EPDM experience
• NQA‑1 or nuclear quality program experience

Pay

$140,000 to $160,000 base salary plus 10% bonus and stock equity
