What You’ll Do
- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of DevOps and Infrastructure Engineers in designing and implementing high-performance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Gradle, KMP, and Develocity.
- Strategic Oversight: Define the roadmap for automating build processes, caching optimizations, and security scanning to ensure software deployment remains smooth and efficient.
- Mentorship & Growth: Actively coach engineers in troubleshooting complex build failures and developing an "automation-first" mindset.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between mobile developers and infrastructure teams to ensure tooling health, monitoring, and alerting are seamlessly integrated.
- Process Excellence: Champion quality-focused initiatives, ensuring the CI/CD pipeline remains the organization's first line of defense for code stability.
Who You Are
- Experienced People Leader: You have a proven track record (3+ years) as a Technical Manager or Team Lead. You know how to manage performance, foster career growth, and maintain team velocity.
- Empathetic Navigator: You understand that leading a team is about clearing roadblocks and building an environment where diverse perspectives thrive.
- Analytical Strategist: You can look at complex infrastructure challenges and guide your team toward logical, scalable solutions.
- Operational Excellence: You are comfortable working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and understand the requirements of a private cloud environment.
Nice to Have
- Mobile Development Background: While your leadership skills are the priority, experience with Android (Gradle/Kotlin) or iOS (Xcode/Swift) ecosystems is a significant plus.
- Deep CI/CD Knowledge: Hands-on history with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Temporal.
- Systems Proficiency: An understanding of Linux systems administration (process management and resource allocation).
Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $243,000.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office.
