About the role
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager oversees and coordinates the daily activities of a customer-specific engineering team. They provide technical guidance and support to engineers to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables. They also support performance, workload balancing, and team efficiency across projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of a customer-specific engineering team.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
- Ensure team adherence to engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
- Serve as product owner and/or project engineer across multiple projects.
- Create and review submittals, BOMs, part numbers, manufacturing drawings, and packing plans.
- Utilize 3D modelling tools to maintain customer designs and support project requirements.
- Assist in product testing, validation, and evaluation, including use of FEA tools.
- Provide technical support to end users, architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
- Evaluate construction specifications and recommend solutions aligned to project requirements.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, project management, and other stakeholders.
- Create and review technical documentation and whitepapers.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, materials, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting engineering projects, product development, or technical design.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure, server hardware, and cooling technologies preferred.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, OnShape) required.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and influence team performance.
Qualifications

Pay
$100,000 USD to $120,000 USD, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
