Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring that all processes align with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and meet production targets
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion of projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within manufacturing
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry-specific manufacturing technologies and best practices
• Experience with ERP systems and other manufacturing software tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite
