Engineering Manager

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina • Contract • 8am to 5pm

About the role

We are looking for a skilled senior engineer with hands-on experience in Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the creation of agents. The primary responsibility is to the people they manage, ensuring their development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering, and organizational practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product requirements, enabling developers to use Copilot and prompt engineering
• Hands-on experience using Copilot for instructions, prompts, skills, and agents
• Hands-on experience in agentic development
• Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, App Developers, product owners, and clients in solution development
• Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Technology, Sales, Client Education, Finance, and Legal
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams
• Develop a technology strategy and ensure technology solutions comply with applicable standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (required)
• Subject matter expert in all aspects of your products (Mobile Applications), including deep understanding of Mobile Frameworks, technical aspects of each product, and underlying data
• Deep understanding of Copilot and Prompt Engineering (required)
• 3+ years of experience with AI Tools (Copilot)
• Hands-on experience in designing and building applications using Copilot

Pay

$51.59 - $61.59 per hour
