Engineering Manager

Job Description

The Video Software Engineering team at NBCU is seeking Engineering Managers to lead and develop our engineering talent. This role involves collaborating with teams across Peacock technology to deliver high-quality streaming services. Key responsibilities include:

• Build and lead inclusive, high-performing engineering teams.
• Work closely with teams across Peacock technology to build scalable, reliable video infrastructure.
• Analyze business requirements to design and develop software applications.
• Oversee the development and software unit testing procedures and validations.
• Develop software solutions based on operations.
• Ensure all systems are properly unit and system integration tested and all defects are documented, fixed, and delivered on time.
• Drive technical initiatives in partnership with senior engineers across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior software development experience at senior level.
• Understanding of how a high-performing team of engineers looks like.
• Experience integrating into a large agile development project and managing rapid development cycles.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with an open collaborative approach.
• Interest in promoting an inclusive team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow.

Salary Range

$140,000 - $200,000 (bonus eligible).
