Engineering /Maintenance Optimization
About the role
This is a remote opportunity. You will report to the Manager of Nuclear Procurement Engineering & Maintenance Optimization, APX-Plant & Design Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Support projects related to Nuclear Operating Plant Maintenance Reliability and Optimization.
- Use industry best practices, including INPO AP-913, and data analytics to optimize equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, work management, surveillance testing frequencies, inventory management, and long-term operations and safety.
- Guide utility clients through program implementation, technical evaluations, and compliance strategies.
- Be a technical lead or Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Plant Reliability Optimization (PRO) programs such as Equipment Classification, Preventive Maintenance Optimization, Spares Parts Strategies, Cycle Plan Agreement, and Functional Equipment Group Development.
- Apply INPO AP-913 and AP-928 principles to develop Equipment Reliability Strategies to work the right equipment at the right time, reducing equipment unavailability and increasing station resource bandwidth to perform critical and emergent work.
- Provide project technical oversight and act as main contact for client technical SMEs.
- Present recommendations to client fleet/station leadership to ensure agreement and approval of deliverables.
- Support team customer solutions in the development of proposals, project technical descriptions and estimates.
- Train other engineering team members and client project team members.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil or related discipline)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the nuclear power industry
- Have held operations license at commercial nuclear power plant

Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be ($/hour to $/hour).
