Engineering Lab Technician

Roles

• Provide solid technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products. Support current products in roles of quality, research & development, pilot-scale manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work
• Understand customer needs through literature review, competitive analysis, prototype evaluation, and clinical / simulated use studies.
• Support engineering of robust and manufacturable products through strong understanding and application of engineering fundamentals.

Must haves

• A minimum of 1-year experience with operation of material and/or chemical analytical instrumentation which may include but not limited to: HPLC, UV-VIS, FTIR, DSC, TGA.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports that comply with company policies and with local, regional, and federal regulations.
• Strong technical communication skills
• Absolutely required: Associates degree or higher in STEM (chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering).
