Engineering Lab Manager

About the role

The Engineering Lab Manager oversees all aspects of the lab operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab activities including setup, maintenance, and cleanup
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and is maintained according to manufacturer specifications
• Train and supervise lab technicians and students in proper use of equipment and safety procedures
• Develop and implement safety training programs for new hires and ongoing staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the lab
• Document all incidents and accidents in accordance with company policy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, science, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory management experience
• Experience working in a high-tech environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
