Engineering Intern (Unpaid)

Essential Job Functions

• Work under the oversight of the Project Manager, Vice President of Engineering, and Senior Leadership in designing, permitting, bidding, and construction of linear asset improvements and other necessary projects.
• Aid the Engineering Project Manager, GIS Manager, and Vice President of Engineering in coordinating and administering CRW’s LCRR initiative.
• Support the Engineering Department capital improvement program implementation functions.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to draft Specifications related to CRW CIP and GI projects.
• Facilitate virtual and/or in-person meetings related to the successful completion of an IDIQ and/or CIP project through the project life cycle.

External Consultants/Engineers

• Coordinate and support professional engineering and planning consultants in the design and execution of infrastructure improvement projects (drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater/GI).
• Aid in the coordination of design documents, CCTV files, PACP reports, and other interdepartmental data and communications between internal and external consulting engineering firms.
• Attend design meetings, participate in the design process, and provide feedback and documentation.
