About the role
Enrolled in a four-year engineering program, must be 1-2 years away from graduation.
Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens Fanuc, Allen Bradley, C++, Visual Studio, Basic, and other relevant software.
Hands-on experience with engines and machining is preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and take initiative.
Critical and innovative thinking skills.
Project Management skills are preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with designing and troubleshooting electronic circuits, electrical control cabinets, and integrated PLC/CNC systems.
- Assist with maintaining machine software, machine backups, and maintenance electrical PM routines.
- Analyze operational problems and develop modifications in design/programming to improve efficiency.
- Aid in training in installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Aid in updating documentation for maintenance procedures.
- Assist in process improvements and cost reduction projects.
- Participate and/or lead problem-solving activities.
